  All a ir shows present risk to spectators and aviators. Accidents occurr, sometimes with a large loss of life, such as  the  1988 disaster at Ramstein Air Base  (70 deaths) in  Germany and the  2002 air show crash at Sknyliv  , Ukraine  (77 deaths)     Air shows use the top pilots in the world. So why are there so many crashes at air shows? These Top pilots in the world are not just showing extreme maneuvers to the crowd -  they are showing these maneuvers too the other best pilots in the world.            Their ego drives them to "show off": - attempt maneuvers that have never been performed in order to be written and talked about in these inner circles, as "Top Dog".      Many times these maneuvers are not completed successfully, Killing many onlookers.
